We are currently working on MS6, and trying to finalize our design for the most critical module (MCM). We are researching how to use solenoids and the different types of solenoids, in order to incorporate it into our MCM. We are updating our solid model, drawings for each part, the bill of materials, and the manufacturing steps in order to eventually be able to manufacture the MCM. Below is one of the drawings to a part of the MCM:



In terms of materials, we plan on using mostly aluminum. There will be a screw that runs up the middle of the MCM from the bottom in order to secure the bottom plates on the shaft. There will also be another screw at the top to secure the stopper to the shaft.  Over the next few days, we hope to finish the solid model, drawings, bill of materials, and manufacturing steps.
